Want to make Hertsmere a better place to do business?

Join our Hertsmere SME Business Growth Forum

We are looking for 10 – 15 directors and/or owners of proactive, small and medium businesses (SMEs), based in Hertsmere, to represent the views of Hertsmere’s businesses.

The borough’s towns, jobs, prosperity and success depend on us creating a climate where your organisation can invest, grow and thrive. Help us to understand your organisation’s needs and act to support your growth.

Share your business experience, insight, knowledge and expertise and help us make ‘Hertsmere a better place to do business’.

We hope the forums will help identify practical action and support that would improve the climate, growth, investment and retention of businesses in Hertsmere.

We’re looking for a diverse mix of SME businesses in terms of size, sector and location across Hertsmere (Borehamwood, Bushey, Centennial Park, Elstree, Potters Bar,  Radlett, Shenley and South Mimms).

The SME Business Growth Forum will include senior Hertsmere Council representation  as well as members from Hertsmere’s Economic Development Team, and the forum will be represented on Hertsmere Borough Council’s Economic Development Board.

We hope to run three SME Growth Forums a year, each lasting two hours.  The first SME forum will take place on the 3rd June.

Alongside the SME Forum we have already set up a forum representing the Creative Industries, and are setting up another  focusing on Hertsmere’s larger employers: Big Business Connect Forum.

If you are a business leader/owner from a Hertsmere-based business and interested in participating, then get in touch:
